Cross-disciplinary industrial expertise from Odda
The company produces prefabricated pipe spools in a wide range of material grades, and in combinations of these where appropriate. The highest-volume plastic is HDPE, but we also supply other pipe grades in thermoplastics, fluoroplastics and composite pipe. We also supply dual-laminate pipe systems, where the inner layer (liner) provides optimal resistance to aggressive chemicals and the outer layer — often a composite — provides strength and stiffness. There are also cases where a liner is used against wear.
Together with Pipeliner, we can also combine the advantages of pipe rehabilitation. Where replacing the pipe is difficult or costly, we instead install a new plastic liner. A complete solution from production to finished installation under a single contract.
At Odda Plast you can train as a skilled operator in many different trades by applying as an apprentice in the plastics trade, polymer composite/thermoset trade, thermoplastics trade, sheet metal working trade, industrial pipefitting trade or electrician trade.

What Odda Plast delivers
Thermoplastics — PE, PP, PVC, PVDF, ECTFE
Prefabrication of PE pipe gives shorter lead times and better quality control. PP and PVDF for acid-resistant environments and process piping. PVDF withstands concentrated sulphuric acid at high process temperatures.
GRE pipe systems
Complete GRE solution from production to installation — in partnership with Pipeliner. Equinor TR3016 and NORSOK M-501. Firewater piping, process piping and seawater systems offshore.
GRP tanks and industrial structures
GRP and GRE components, process water tanks and reactors. Acid-resistant vinyl ester. NS 9415/NS 9416 at group level. GRP lasts 30–50 years versus 15–20 years for steel in corrosive environments.
Advanced composite components
Precise composite components for demanding maritime and industrial applications. Subsea and surface vessels, sensor housings and structural components with tight tolerance requirements. We operate under NDA and are familiar with AVL/AML processes.

Material selection, sizing and technical advice from an early stage. Odda Plast recommends the right material for each medium, temperature and environment — so you get the right solution from the start.
GRE upgrading of steel pipe
Permanent corrosion barrier inside existing steel pipe. Odda Plast produces the GRE pipe, Pipeliner installs it. 15–25 years of extended service life — a complete solution under a single delivery.
Electrical and automation
Electrical installations and automation solutions integrated with pipe systems and process equipment. Certified electrician. Complete delivery from a single company.
