The People
Welders, plastic mechanics, composite technicians, industrial pipefitters, insulators and electricians. Fourteen trades spread across six companies and four locations.
We work with orbital GTAW welding, vacuum-infused composite structures, robotic tank renewal in hazardous zones, and trenchless pipe rehabilitation with LIDAR documentation. The trade certificate is the starting point, and expertise keeps building with every method we adopt.
SIGRA takes on apprentices every year and keeps developing people throughout their careers. That's why the work lasts.

The Culture
We maintain and promote best practice in quality, health, safety and environment across six companies and four locations. Our quality management is certified to ISO 9001, and every company works to documented procedures, inspection plans and signed approvals.
Our culture creates an environment where everyone contributes to removing hazards, reducing risk and improving continuously — from day one as an apprentice. The work gets done right the first time, because the person doing it owns the result.
Anyone here can stop the work
Everyone who works for SIGRA has the authority to stop the work. A right anyone can use, on any site, without asking permission and without repercussions. If something is unsafe, or not right, the work stops until it has been put right
Everyone goes home safe.
We Got This
Every quarter we recognize one job, one person or one team across the six companies. Nominations come from colleagues.
We Got This. It's how we answer when someone asks if we can handle it.
The Experience
The challenges have been seen before.
The right material choice determines what the plant requires for the rest of its lifetime. Thermoplastics in acid-resistant environments, GRE where corrosion would otherwise force replacement, composite where weight affects operations. The material is selected to match the medium, the environment and the required lifetime.
The effect shows over time: longer intervals between maintenance, fewer unplanned shutdowns, and an installation that lasts another fifteen to twenty-five years.
Experience is shared on the shop floor, from those who've done the job to those who'll do it next time.
The Delivery
Our work is inspected, documented and signed off. Quality management is certified to ISO 9001. Steel structures and welding are approved to EN 1090-EXC2 and ISO 3834-2. Surface treatment is carried out by FROSIO-certified inspectors and operators. Pipe rehabilitation and coating are pre-approved by Equinor to TR3016 and NORSOK M-501.
Third-party approval lets a customer qualify us on documentation, and get started faster.
